Manufactory for Automotive Interiors

CarTex® SitzKlinik® by Gerald Schubert is a manufactory for automotive interiors based in Königswinter on the Rhine. The company is a specialist in professionally executed and historically accurate upholstery work in the automotive field and can look back on over 30 years of experience. Products include seat restorations, covers, convertible tops, headliners, automotive carpets, cushions and pads as well as spring cores for vehicles from Porsche, Mercedes, Volkswagen, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Audi and Opel, plus Unimog/trucks and vintage bicycles. As early as the seventies, the company began building up a collection of old materials from stock inventories, so that today it has access to almost all the leathers, fabrics, imitation leather and other materials required for the restoration of vintage vehicles, including original NOS cover fabrics. All ancillary work such as welding, carpentry, removal, conversion and metalwork is carried out in-house, guaranteeing independence from third-party companies and a single point of contact. The small business also operates an online shop for original cover fabrics and parts.
