About Cassio-P
CASSIO-P SA is a Swiss OEM company based in Neuchâtel, founded as an EPFL spin-off, which manufactures optical modules based on a proprietary all-glass technology. The focus is on miniature femtosecond lasers with GHz repetition rates that, through the combination of miniaturized optics with special glass substrates (low-expansion glass), are particularly lightweight, thermally and mechanically stable, and space-saving. The product portfolio comprises the Alpha 1030, Alpha HP 1030 (MOPA, >10 nJ) and Beta 515 (frequency-doubled, 515–520 nm) modules, each passively or highly efficiently cooled and designed as plug-and-play solutions. Customer-specific OEM versions as well as fiber coupling and burst mode are available on request. Fields of application include microfabrication and elemental analysis, biomedical imaging, pump-probe measurements, telecommunications/data communications, and scientific instrumentation.

Technology & Materials
Low expansion glass
Engineered glass substrates with a low coefficient of thermal expansion form the core of the all-glass technology and ensure thermal and mechanical stability.
Miniaturized optics
Miniaturized optics are combined with the glass substrates to form compact, lightweight laser modules.
