About Castor Plastics
Castor Plastics GmbH in Pfalzfeld specialises in the production of polyamide 6 cast semi-finished products (PA6-G). The portfolio includes tubes with outer diameters from 50 mm to 1500 mm and lengths up to 6000 mm, rods from Ø 50 mm to 2500 mm and up to 3000 mm in length, blocks in special dimensions as well as cut-to-size pieces up to Ø 1300 mm. In mould casting, preforms and special parts from 1 kg to several hundred kilograms are produced, including trapezoidal profiles, L-profiles, hollow cone blanks, filter plates and shaker rods, also with metal inserts. The tubes and flanges are produced seamlessly by the centrifugal casting process based on the principle of activated anionic polymerisation. Products are available in various colours and special formulations, e.g. with oil or wax additives. Fields of application include, among others, dredging, the gravel and sand industry, the potash and salt industry as well as mining with the JULON tube system for hydraulic solids transport.
