About Cavion

Cavion – Mit Sicherheit in die Zukunft UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is a young company based in Lennestadt-Meggen (North Rhine-Westphalia). Its managing director and founder is the chimney sweep Aeneas Levin Friedrich. The company develops, manages, exploits and licenses technical innovations, intellectual property rights, patents and product ideas, particularly in the fields of mechanical engineering, medical technology, digitalisation and process optimisation; it also offers consulting on intellectual property and process digitalisation, and on an extended basis the development and manufacture of its own products or prototypes. The first product is the Chimney Hero: a one-piece, hollow aluminium body that serves as an alternative and complement to the roller cradle by guiding the sweeping line over the chimney edge and wedging itself firmly under tension at the edge. The product was developed in day-to-day working practice and is currently being tested by colleagues from the chimney sweep trade; an orderable small series is not yet available.
