About CBL
CBL GmbH (Communication by light), based in Münster (Hesse) near Dieburg, has specialized in radio-link technology for wireless site-to-site interconnection since 1991. The company develops and manufactures optical laser systems (AirLaser series), short-range and microwave radio-link systems (CBL-Link, AirLink) as well as passive deflection mirrors in lightweight aluminum construction, and offers accessories such as hot-dip galvanized brackets and masts. More than 30 years of experience have gone into over 2,500 radio-link systems installed in Germany and thousands of deliveries to more than 16 countries. The service portfolio covers the entire value chain from a single source: feasibility studies, radio-path and site planning, frequency application formalities with the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur), infrastructure creation including steel construction and cable laying, installation, commissioning as well as maintenance and service. In addition, CBL develops and produces OEM products, in particular active components for in-house cabling systems such as the ISABEL mini-switch series, with expertise in optical communications technology, IP signal processing and digital signal processing. Customers come from industries such as mobile communications, chemicals, mechanical engineering, banks, clinics and public institutions.

Materials & Processes
Lightweight aluminum
Material of the passive deflection mirrors, e.g. MR 100 with a 100 × 100 cm deflection area at a total weight of around 18 kg.
Hot-dip galvanized steel
Used for brackets, masts and site frames, permanently installed weatherproof.
Infrared (830 nm / 1550 nm)
Carrier in the optical radio link; the systems are eye-safe according to laser class 1M.
