CC Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Schornsheim (Rhineland-Palatinate), specializes in contract machining of parts as well as the design of assemblies and parts on a customer order basis. As of 01.12.2019, the business operations of CC Maschinenbau GmbH were taken over by Carpentier Packaging GmbH, a manufacturer of erecting machines, case packers and special machinery headquartered in Wörrstadt. Carpentier Packaging had previously already been one of the company's major customers. Mechanical manufacturing is concentrated in Schornsheim; due to a lack of space, a new building for assembly next to the existing production facility was planned there for 2020. The customer base includes the food industry as the largest segment as well as other industrial sectors. Management lies with Christian Carpentier; the company is part of the Carpentier Group, in which Kai Capital has held a majority stake since 2011.
