About CCL Design Stuttgart

CCL Design Stuttgart GmbH (formerly Wölco) is a system provider for technical product identification headquartered in Nufringen near Stuttgart, with a second plant in Schwaig near Nuremberg. The company develops and manufactures self-adhesive labels such as type plates, documentation, decoration, logistics, safety and paint protection labels as well as special adhesive labels and functional die-cut parts. Using a digital prepress stage, digital printing, UV flexographic printing and thermal transfer printing systems, more than 3 million adhesive labels are produced daily for technical industries. In addition, the company builds labeling systems such as hand dispensers, dispensing systems, laminators and application automation as well as printing and reading systems including hardware and software. A Design Center and laboratory support customers from the initial idea to the finished product. The company has belonged to the Canadian group CCL Industries Inc. since 2015/2016 and supplies industries such as automotive, medical technology, electronics, aerospace and defense.
