About us
CD Group specialises in the import, processing and marketing of food products, with a focus on chocolate and coffee. Founded in 1981 by Jean-Willy Bihler in Le Locle, the company comprises two entities: Choco-Diffusion SA and La Semeuse SA. Choco-Diffusion distributes imported biscuits and confectionery products from European suppliers exclusively across the entire Swiss market and operates a co-packing business for customised packaging solutions such as filled gift baskets, multi-packs and labelling. The La Semeuse brand, acquired in 2015 and founded in 1900 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, represents the company's own coffee roastery. The company employs 80 permanent staff, manages seven active brands and is present with its products in 50 countries. It relies on direct partnerships with producers, organic and Fairtrade certifications, and environmentally responsible packaging.
