About CEA
CEA Chemie- u. Energie-Armaturen GmbH is a valve trading house founded in 1921, headquartered in Ludwigshafen with a sales branch in Cologne. The portfolio includes ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, valves, control valves, steam traps, check valves, safety valves, measuring technology, strainers and filters, as well as actuator technology and accessories, also in special materials. In addition to distributing branded valves from, among others, Chemvalve, Pekos and Smith Flow Control, the company manufactures customized parts up to complete assemblies to customer specifications in its own workshop. Core competencies include valve automation (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic), the assembly of valve interlocks, and an emergency sealing system with which leaks during ongoing operation are sealed by custom-made metallic enclosures and injected sealing compounds. Customers include renowned chemical companies and power plant operators, including BASF, where the company worked as an industrial representative for more than 70 years.
