History

1986
Founded by Renato Cecchetto; import of coffee capsules and machines from Italy, first repairs in his own garage.
Market expansion; additional staff and new premises become necessary.
Cecchetto becomes the official and exclusive importer and main distributor of the Lavazza Espresso Point system in Switzerland; opening of a regional office/showroom in the Basel area.
Conversion into a public limited company (AG); move to the headquarters at Kaffeestrasse 10 in Bülach; win of the Swiss Logistics Award and the European Logistics Award.
Development of Cecchetto's own coffee blends together with Italian roasters, offered as capsules and roasted beans; introduction of the company's own capsule system.
