About CEFEG

CEFEG GmbH is a specialized manufacturer of precision components based in Chemnitz. Founded before 1990 and privatized in 2005, the company produces springs from wire and strip (flat, spiral, coiled, compression, extension and torsion springs), stamped bent parts, and complex assemblies for customers from the automotive, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, medical technology and other industries. On approximately 8,000 m² of production space, of which 1,000 m² is toolmaking, stamping and bending processes are carried out at processing speeds of 600 to 1,200 strokes per minute. Materials processed include copper, brass, nickel silver and stainless steel; surface treatments such as gilding, nickel plating and silver plating are performed by partner companies. The range of services includes design, prototype manufacturing, toolmaking, assembly, custom packaging up to white labeling, as well as machine assembly and commissioning. Since 2024, CEFEG has operated systematic sustainability management with a 663 kWp photovoltaic system.
