CenterLine Germany GmbH, based in Sinn-Fleisbach, is a provider of resistance and joining technology. The company supplies custom production systems and branded products for resistance welding (spot welding and projection welding), metal joining and metal forming – from components such as spot welding guns, welding cylinders, electrodes and shunts to complete automated welding and assembly lines. Core technologies include resistance welding, metal forming (hole punching, shearing, riveting, tube bending, laser cutting, die forging) as well as Cold Spray. Together with Howmet Aerospace, the RSR technology (Resistance Spot Riveting) was developed for joining dissimilar material combinations such as aluminium or magnesium with steel. Customers come primarily from the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2) and the mass transit industry. At the Sinn-Fleisbach site, a technology cell with a Fanuc robot and FlexFast projection welding system is available for training, welding parameter development and pre-production. Since 2004, CenterLine Germany has been part of the global CenterLine Group; in 2026, Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH and the assets of Dalex Automation & Welding GmbH were acquired.
