About Centrum Pfähle
Centrum Pfähle GmbH, based in Germaringen (Bavaria), specializes in the production of precast driven piles and is part of the globally operating Aarsleff Group. The Germaringen pile plant went into operation in June 2016 and is the newest of a total of five Centrum pile plants in Denmark, Sweden, Poland, the United Kingdom and Germany. Production is fully automated: the reinforcement cages are welded on a fully automatic system with an electronically controlled welding robot, then placed in specially made steel formwork and concreted and compacted by means of a concrete pouring plant. Only certified concrete and steel from recognized European steelworks are purchased. Customers are companies in geotechnical special engineering and construction, in particular for deep foundations. Each plant can produce up to 1,000,000 linear meters of pile per year; verified type static calculations and data sheets are available via a virtual plant tour.

The CPS Centrum Pile System ensures prefabrication in its own plants that specialize exclusively in precast piles. Each pile plant performs an incoming inspection of the materials used every week; these quality controls are continuously monitored by recognized testing institutes.
