About Ceplus Energy
Ceplus Energy AG, headquartered in Munich, is a project development and plant operating company for Power-to-X facilities founded in 2025. According to the commercial register, the company's purpose is the construction and operation of hydrogen plants including the marketing of the products generated. Ceplus pursues an off-grid and vertically integrated plant approach: renewable power generation (solar, wind, hydro), water supply, water electrolysis, CO₂ sourcing from industrial carbon capture or biomass gasification, hydrogen storage as well as synthesis and refining into synthetic liquid hydrocarbons are bundled in one chain. As lead project, the company is developing Plant E in south-east Spain with a planned output of around 12,000 tonnes of liquid hydrocarbons per year; the feasibility study has been completed and the environmental permitting process has been initiated. The product target is RFNBO-compliant green fuels such as eSAF (brand 100SAF™, patent pending, Jet A-1 quality), e-Diesel and e-Naphtha, complemented by green ammonia and E-methanol. Target industries are aviation, shipping, chemicals, steel, glass, refineries and fertilizer production. The company is also developing an ML/AI-supported operations layer based on a coupled simulation model for continuous plant optimization.
