About Ceram Austria

Ceram Austria develops and produces ceramic high-performance technologies for exhaust gas cleaning, heat storage and decarbonisation. Founded in 1921 and headquartered in Frauental an der Laßnitz (Styria), the company has been a European pioneer in SCR catalysis since 1985 and manufactures SCR and ASC catalysts that reduce NOx, dioxins and furans, as well as ceramic heat storage media for RTO systems, heat recovery systems and large-scale thermal energy storage. Every solution is individually engineered on the basis of plant-specific parameters. The products are used, among other applications, in power generation (gas turbines, gas engines, data centres), waste and biomass incineration, the process, cement, semiconductor, chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as in marine and mobile applications. With more than 2,100 reference plants, over 200 international projects and an annual production capacity of 40,000 m³ at the Frauental site, the company operates worldwide. The CATLife® catalyst management supports products throughout their entire life cycle – from sampling and laboratory analysis to reactivation and replacement.
