Ceramdis GmbH is a manufacturing company specialising in high-performance ceramics, headquartered in Elsau in the canton of Zurich. The company produces custom components made of silicon nitride (CeSinit®), silicon carbide, zirconia and alumina – from small parts in high-volume production to highly precise components in small batches. The core process is thermoforming, which enables the economical production of needles, capillaries, multi-bore tubes, rods and pins made of silicon nitride. In addition, Ceramdis combines ceramics with other materials such as steel or POM into finished assemblies using adhesive, shrink-fit and joining technology. Its services include prototyping, series production, material consulting and the storage of components; ceramic blanks such as round rods, flat profiles, tubes and foils can be ordered online.
