About Cergen
Cergen is a supplier of soft magnetic and inductive components, electrical switching systems and other assemblies for industrial applications. The company produces nanocrystalline and ferrite cores, chokes, inductors and complete EMC filter modules, and develops electromagnetic compatibility engineering up to the construction of complete EMC laboratories. Through the Power Connect business unit, DC switching systems are manufactured that handle switching currents up to 500 A and voltages up to 2000 V DC — manual, motorized or with tripping function. Manufacturing is vertically integrated: nearly 100% of all components required for the products are produced in-house. Main customers are manufacturers of electric vehicles (OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2) as well as the solar, wind and energy storage industries and other industrial markets such as railway technology and industrial automation. Cergen emerged in 2005 from Green Century Technology Co., Ltd. headquartered in Beijing; Cergen GmbH, based in Frankfurt am Main, coordinates the sites in Hungary and China.
