About Galdabini
Cesare Galdabini S.p.A. has been developing and manufacturing precision straightening machines, material testing machines and hydraulic presses, including their automation in production lines, since 1890. The straightening machines of the Gantry series (120 to 1000 t) and TWIN (horizontal force application up to 4000 t) are used for straightening railway axles, seamless and stainless steel tubes, bars and profiles. The hydraulic presses cover punching, deep drawing, trimming and flanging. Material testing machines enable, among other things, tensile tests in accordance with ISO 6892-1 on metallic materials. An ACCREDIA-certified laboratory calibrates measuring instruments for force, hardness, deformation, torque, pressure and temperature. The company operates two sites in Italy (Cardano al Campo and Vigevano) as well as a corporate headquarters in Switzerland; 85% of production goes abroad, with around 10,000 machines installed worldwide. The plant is operated with 100% environmentally friendly energy from a photovoltaic system.
