About cFos eMobility

cFos eMobility GmbH, based in Bonn, develops and manufactures wallboxes and charging controllers for charging electric cars as well as load management software. The product portfolio includes the cFos Power Brain Wallbox (Gen 2) with 11 kW or 22 kW charging power, the cFos Wallbox Booster and the cFos Power Brain Controller as a charging controller for wallboxes from other manufacturers, as well as the cFos Charging Manager for controlling an almost unlimited number of charging points. The products are in-house developments and support PV surplus charging, grid-friendly control, communication via Smart Meter Gateway and metering-point-compliant transmission of meter readings. The cFos Charging Manager is also sold as a white-label product by two industrial companies and, as of May 2024, was in use in projects with around 4500 charging points. The management consists of Dr. Christoph Lüders and Martin Winkler; the company can look back on the experience of cFos Software GmbH, active since 1993, which develops network software. Areas of application are private and commercial installations in single-family homes, multi-family buildings, multi-storey car parks, fleets, industry and bus tourism. The wallboxes may only be operated within the EU.

Quality & Compliance

The cFos Charging Manager can integrate wallboxes from various manufacturers into a load management system, provided they report their maximum power, are controllable and report the Charge-Pilot state according to DIN IEC 61851. The wallboxes are equipped with a DC residual current sensor and may only be operated permanently installed (charging mode 3).
