About CG Chemikalien
CG Chemikalien GmbH & Co. KG (CG 1962) was founded in 1962 in Laatzen near Hannover as a regional chemical trader and is today an internationally networked distributor, service provider and producer of basic and specialty chemicals for industry. The company mixes, sieves, mills, dissolves, decants and repacks for over 5,000 customers with an annual tonnage of around 95,800 tonnes. The product range comprises around 3,000 industrial and specialty chemicals (acids, alkalis, solvents, glycols, inorganic and organic salts), more than 300 pharmaceutical active ingredients and excipients, and over 500 additive and supplementary substances for Health & Nutrition. An in-house development product is the EVC® range of water treatment products, comprising around 200 articles; in addition, contract manufacturing and cleanroom production of pharmaceutical media, solids and liquids takes place in accordance with GMP / §13 AMG (German Medicines Act) in cleanroom classes C and D. The Laatzen site offers a five-storey laboratory building (pharmaceuticals, coatings, application engineering), a computer-controlled small-container filling system and two 30 m³ stainless steel tanks with agitators and cleaning nozzles. Delivery is carried out in Germany, Europe and worldwide via an own fleet of trucks, special tanker vehicles and dangerous goods transporters, including a pharmaceutical vehicle fleet. CG Chemikalien is part of the CG GROUP with locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
