About CGT Carbon
CGT Carbon GmbH is a family-owned company based in Asbach (Rhineland-Palatinate) specializing in the machining of graphite and carbon-fiber-reinforced carbon (CFC/C/C). On an 8000 m² industrial site with around 2300 m² of production and warehouse halls, the company manufactures dimensionally accurate graphite and CFC components on CNC machining centers and maintains extensive stock of various graphite grades. The service portfolio includes material selection and technical consulting, design with 2D/3D documentation, machining, thermo-chemical graphite purification with ash contents below 5 ppm, and performance coatings such as SiC, TiC, BN, pyrolytic carbon and plasma spraying. Customers include foundries (continuous casting), the glass industry, heat treatment, furnace engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, sintering processes, electrical discharge machining (EDM) and the automotive industry. In addition to its headquarters in Asbach, CGT Carbon maintains a representative office in Katowice (Poland), the subsidiary CGT Karbon Ltd. Şti. in Bursa (Turkey) and CGT Carbon Inc. in New York (USA).
