About Charlie Xray
Charlie Xray is a Munich-based company in the field of dual-use technology. With the concept study WARRANT, the company is developing a system for defending against drones that combines sensors and effector on a common optical axis. The concept envisions a 360° head ring construction kit in which many small fiber emitters are spectrally combined into a single beam; the lens that shapes this beam is designed as an interchangeable component and is stored separately. This allows an operator to run the system lawfully as a sensor, while police or armed forces unlock the effect function with their own lens. Multiple heads form a network that determines trajectory, altitude and speed from track data and delivers predictions for a slow-acting effector principle against fast targets. The target groups are operators of critical infrastructure as well as government agencies.
