About charline
charline GmbH produces plant charcoal at its site in Riedlingsdorf in southern Burgenland by pyrolysis at over 700 °C under exclusion of air, and processes it into feed charcoal, slurry charcoal, plant charcoal for biogas plants as well as Biochar1000 for industrial applications. The raw materials such as organic spelt husks, sunflower husks, untreated forest wood chips and processed wood from composting are sourced from a radius of at most 70 kilometres and are processed, dried, sieved and charred on site. Mixing, milling into two defined grinding grades, pelletising, packaging and shipping are also carried out in-house; containers range from tins from 175 g up to big bags of 425 kg. The feed charcoal is offered in eight species-specific variants for dogs, cats, horses, cattle, calves, pigs, sheep and poultry. The company emerged from Sonnenerde GmbH, a soil and substrate manufacturer with many years of experience in composting, and together with it employs around 30 people. Management: Gerald Dunst and Dipl.-Ing. Dominik Dunst.
