About Chemie-Technik GmbH (ELKALUB)
Chemie-Technik GmbH develops, produces and markets high-performance lubricants under the ELKALUB brand: over 190 specialty greases, lubricating oils, sprays and corrosion protection agents for tribological industrial applications. Founded in 1956 as Süddeutsche Bardahl, the family-owned company based in Vöhringen/Württemberg manufactures its products on a production area of 2,400 sqm; the plant technology is built to its own specifications, including a polyurea plant for PH greases. In its own laboratory with a rheometer and a noise measurement device, customer-specific formulations as well as private-label lubricants are developed. The base oils include mineral oil, white oil, ester, PAO, PFPE, silicone oil and polyglycol. Customers include the printing and paper industry, the food, pharmaceutical and beverage industries, mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry, and manufacturers of power tools and robotics. Around 50 % of production is exported; a network of sales partners worldwide serves more than 30 countries.
