About ChemiLytics

ChemiLytics is an accredited testing laboratory in Goslar (southern Lower Saxony) and is part of the Mitsubishi Materials Group. The analytics center performs chemical and physical material analyses, with a focus on inorganic elemental analysis and powder characterization. On approximately 7,500 m² of laboratory space, of which 1,000 m² is under cleanroom conditions, around 70 employees analyze more than 50,000 samples per year. The service portfolio comprises nine areas: sample acceptance and preparation, classical wet-chemical methods, non-metal analysis, trace element analysis, X-ray technology, powder characterization, scanning electron microscopy, cemented carbide laboratory and gamma spectrometry. Typical samples are tungsten, tantalum and niob ores, refractory metal powders and scrap, as well as samples from the recycling sector. Customers include companies from additive manufacturing (3D printing), aerospace, e-mobility including battery recycling, the cemented carbide industry, the semiconductor industry and environmental monitoring. The laboratory has been accredited under DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (formerly DIN EN 45001) since 1995 and is involved in the production of certified reference materials together with the BAM.
