About us
Cheminova Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG is a subsidiary of FMC Corporation and operates facilities for the production of crop protection products at the Stade site in the Stade/Bützfleth industrial park (Bützfleth), including the associated storage facilities for raw materials and finished goods. The finished crop protection products are produced not by chemical conversion but by purely physical processes: mixing, wet milling, dispersion and dissolution of various raw materials and active ingredients. The overall facility consists of storage tanks, mixing vessels with agitators, mixing tanks, ball mills and filling machines as well as the infrastructure of pumps, filters and pipelines. In addition, there are filling stations and transfer areas for tank wagons and trucks. The management systems at the site are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; the company is subject to the extended obligations of the Major Accidents Ordinance.
