About us
Chemo Kunststoff GmbH manufactures technical plastic parts using the vacuum forming process, such as machine covers, tool case inserts and landscape elements, on two Illig vacuum forming machines with part sizes up to 1400 x 960 x 400 mm. All common thermoplastics such as polystyrene, ABS, PVC, PE and PP are processed in sheet thicknesses from 0.2 to 10 mm, from lot sizes of 1 piece up to high-volume series. In addition, the company offers CNC-milled parts made of plastic, aluminium, model-making materials and wood, toolmaking for vacuum forming tools, welding and bonding constructions made of PVC, PE and PP, container construction such as spill trays, bent parts, cut-outs and punches, as well as CAD design. Since 1995, prototypes and small series have been among its core competencies. Customers are found in mechanical engineering, the packaging industry, cleanroom technology, paint test systems, and the toy and model-making sectors. Founded in 1961, the company is based in Offenbach am Main.

Materials & Processes
Polystyrene
Vacuum formed, e.g. for tool case inserts (2 mm) and printed play surfaces (0.8 mm).
ABS
4 mm ABS serves, among other things, as the starting material for machine covers.
PVC (transparent)
In 4 and 10 mm for bonded and welded constructions such as coupling and endpoint boxes for cleanroom technology.
Polypropylene (PP)
10 mm PP is processed into welded constructions such as spill trays and pump containers for paint test systems.
PE
Weldable thermoplastic used for welded constructions and container construction.
Acrylic glass
Semi-finished material used for bent parts, bending constructions and cut-outs/punches.
Aluminium
Material for CNC-milled parts as well as for the construction of vacuum forming tools.
Model-making materials (0.6–1.7 kg/dm³)
Prototype tools milled in various densities for vacuum forming.
Wood
Millable material for prototypes and custom-made products.
Thermoplastics (0.2–10 mm)
All common thermoplastics are processed using the vacuum forming process.
Vacuum forming
Core process on two Illig machines for parts up to 1400 x 960 x 400 mm, from 1 piece to high-volume series.
CNC milling
Milling of parts up to 1250 x 700 x 300 mm as well as prototype tools from drawings or 3D files.
