At its Altdorf site, the company performs contract manufacturing and contract synthesis, custom formulations and packaging, as well as services such as drying, mixing, milling, sieving and recrystallization. The production and laboratory area, completed in January 2020, comprises reactors up to 1000 liters in pharmaceutical and food-grade design, semi-automatic filling lines for liquids and solids from 0 g/ml to 25 kg/L, a laminar flow facility of Class ISO 5 and hazardous materials storage down to -80 °C. The company develops volumetric solutions according to the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) and operates its own laboratory for quality control of traded and in-house products. In addition, Chemos offers a safety data sheet service according to REACh and CLP for all legal jurisdictions worldwide as well as the REACh Registration Service (RRS) for volume bands from 1 to 100 MT.
