About ChemValve-Schmid AG
ChemValve-Schmid AG develops and produces high-quality industrial valves in Welschenrohr in the Swiss Jura for the safe shut-off and control of gaseous, liquid and powdered media. The product range includes PTFE- and PFA-lined butterfly valves and ball valves (ChemLine) as well as check valves, check discs and strainers for industrial standard applications (PrimeLine). Manufacturing is characterized by a high level of in-house production depth: metal and plastic parts are machined on modern turning and milling machines, and PFA coating is carried out using the transfer moulding process on specially developed, electronically controlled presses. Bodies and components are made of spheroidal cast iron, stainless steel, duplex, titanium, Hastelloy and carbon steel; liners and seals are made of PTFE, PFA, EPDM, FKM and other elastomers. Every valve is tested after manufacture in accordance with EN 12266-1 and is individually traceable via serial numbers. The products are sold through a network of distribution partners in over 60 countries, primarily in the chemical and process industries with aggressive and corrosive media.
