About Chili Mafia

Chili Mafia GmbH was a hot sauce manufacturer based in Trier and operator of a distribution platform for chili products from small, owner-run manufacturers. In addition to its own brand Chili Mafia Hot Sauces (formerly Pika Pika Chili Compositions), which was handcrafted without flavour enhancers or artificial extracts from fresh, preferably regional ingredients, the offering included hot sauce boxes, a subscription model, chili seeds via chili-plants.com, and an online shop with over 100 hot sauce products. All sauces were tested and rated before being included in the shop and boxes. Distribution took place via the company's own online shop, Amazon, and specialised delicatessen retailers; from 2023 direct shipping to France, Austria and Spain was available. Business operations ceased in April 2026.
