Chint Solar specializes in the development, financing, realization and operation of solar parks as well as large-scale battery storage systems (BESS) in Europe. According to the company, it has already built more than 30 solar parks, corresponding to the power supply of over 300,000 households. The project list includes locations in Germany and the Netherlands, including solar parks in Afferden, Dosse, Finkenthal, Hechthausen, Schönermark-Stüdenitz and Joure as well as a BESS project in Weißenfels. In addition, the company is active with the Salteras solar park in Spain and, together with Voltis, is developing the Voltison joint venture with a pipeline of around 5 GW of renewable energy and storage projects in the United Kingdom. Chint Solar addresses investors, landowners and municipalities and sees itself as a partner for a decentralized, sustainable energy supply. The company website has been online since 2018.
