About Chocolat Ammann
Chocolat Ammann is a traditional Swiss chocolate marshmallow brand that has existed since 1949. Founded in the basement of a residential house in Konolfingen in the canton of Bern, the company moved its production to Heimberg on Lake Thun in 1965 due to increasing demand. Since August 2025, the chocolate marshmallows have been produced exclusively by Maestrani Swiss Chocolate AG in Flawil SG, whose brands include, alongside Chocolat Ammann, Munz, Minor and Avelines. The range includes chocolate marshmallows in milk and dark chocolate as well as the flavour variants strawberry, caramel, banana and coconut – from the mini format (10 g) and the King size (30 g) to the handcrafted Big King (240 g). Each chocolate marshmallow consists of airy egg-white foam, a crispy wafer and a thin, crunchy chocolate shell. The products are made in Switzerland with high-quality raw materials and 100 % sustainable Fairtrade cocoa and are distributed via the company's own online shop. At the Chocolarium in Flawil, the production process can be experienced on site.
