Chr. Olesen is an international distribution company with Danish roots that supplies premium ingredients and constituents to the Feed, Food, Pharma and Technical industries. Founded in 1885 by Mads Chr. Olesen as a Danish colonial goods store, the family-owned company today distributes vitamins, minerals and proteins for the animal feed industry as well as ingredients for the food and pharmaceutical industries, including polymers, xanthan gum and manganese carbonate for technical applications. The range of services covers distribution, warehousing and delivery worldwide, complemented by industry expertise from its nine locations in Hamburg, Paris, Madrid, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Bogota, São Paulo, Querétaro and New York. In 2025, the company celebrated its 140th anniversary with around 200 employees and is in its 5th generation of family ownership. Long-standing partnerships with carefully selected manufacturers form the basis of reliable global supply.
