Founded in 1946, Christian Bürkert GmbH & Co. KG is an internationally active manufacturer of measurement, control and regulating technology for liquids and gases. The product portfolio includes solenoid valves, process and diaphragm valves, mass flow controllers and meters, pneumatic actuation and control systems, sensor technology (including MEMS microsensors) as well as standard and industrial field communication. In addition to individual components, Bürkert manufactures customised mechatronic system solutions in its system houses – from prototyping to series assembly. Manufacturing includes mechanical machining of steel and stainless steel, plastic injection moulding, coil production, toolmaking and certified welding (EN ISO 3834-3). Core industries are pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, food & beverage, laboratory and analytical technology, medical technology, hydrogen technology as well as chemicals and water treatment. The headquarters is located in Ingelfingen-Criesbach; production and system house sites exist in Germany, France, China, the USA and India.

Founded by Christian Bürkert; initially temperature controllers for incubators.
