About Siebenwurst
Christian Karl Siebenwurst GmbH & Co. KG is a model and mold maker established since 1897, with its headquarters in Dietfurt in Upper Palatinate. The company produces injection molding, die casting, press, foaming, and sheet forming and stamping tools for 3D form parts made of plastic and aluminum, including complete solutions for special processes to manufacture large-format and complex components with a focus on lightweight solutions. The process chain covers design and model making (1:1 models from foam and clay, wind tunnel models, cubing), CAD design in ICEM and CATIA, product development, prototype construction, mold and tool making, and null to small series production in its in-house technical center on three injection molding machines with 1,100 t, 1,800 t, and 4,000 t clamping force. Mold sampling is carried out in its own technical center; erocut Funkenerosions GmbH in Rohr offers EDM subcontracting. As a system supplier for the automotive industry (including Daimler, BMW, VW, Audi, Porsche), aerospace, and consumer goods industry, Siebenwurst supports customers from the design model to series production and accompanies tools throughout their entire lifecycle with the Tool Doctors service model. In 2017, the group employed around 700 employees with revenues of €85 million, with locations in Europe, North America, and Asia.
