About the office

Christoph Bücheler is a freelance landscape architect in Munich who designs urban outdoor spaces and open areas and supervises their implementation. Under the programmatic guiding theme of "garden wilderness", he plans projects in which a culturally shaped habitat is combined with opportunities for nature to unfold – from public green spaces to university and government open spaces to private gardens. The focus is on projects for public clients such as the City of Munich, the University of Regensburg and the Bavarian Environment Agency in Augsburg. After training as a landscape gardener and studying landscape management at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan, he developed his professional profile as a long-standing project manager at Valentien + Valentien before founding his own office in 1999. From 2007 to 2009 he taught "Landscape Architecture Technology" on an interim basis at the Technical University of Munich. The office is a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.
