Chronolabel S.A., based in Aigle (Canton of Vaud, Switzerland), has been active in automatic identification since 1987. The company initially sold label printers as well as stationary and mobile barcode scanners, later adding RFID, smart card and biometrics solutions. Today's focus is on the manufacture of custom labels on rolls made from various materials and adhesives. For blank labels, a machine fleet for die-cutting and cutting is available; a stock of more than 300 standard die-cutting tools (round, square, rectangular) enables fast production from 1'000 labels. In addition, labels are printed thermally, by thermal transfer or in colour by inkjet, and printers, scanners and consumables (thermal transfer ribbons, ink cartridges) are sold.
