About Cibes Lift Group
Cibes Lift Group is a Swedish manufacturer of factory-built, space-saving lift solutions headquartered in Gävle. Founded in 1947, the company developed the screw-driven lift technology (screw and nut) that remains the core of its products to this day: platform lifts, homelifts, cabin lifts and freight lifts with load capacities up to 1000 kg and travel distances up to 20 m. The lifts are delivered as a kit of prefabricated parts, in most models including the shaft, and require no pit, additional headroom or separate machine room; installation takes 2–3 days. Production takes place in Sweden (HQ and main plant), Poland, the USA and China; more than 1600 employees worldwide handle sales and service in over 70 countries. In addition to consulting, planning and installation, Cibes offers maintenance as well as modernization with upgrade kits. All lifts are CE type-examined in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC by the Notified Body Liftinstituut.
