About CICO® – A story that lubricates the future

CICO SLT GmbH, based in Rielasingen-Worblingen, develops and distributes synthetic high-performance specialty lubricants, sliding agents and surface treatment products of the CICO® brand. The products are based on a formulation by the chemist Dr. A. Herczeg and have been continuously further developed since 1980 based on Swiss technology; research and development is carried out by the sister company Swiss Innovation Technology GmbH in Kreuzlingen. The portfolio includes rail and wheel flange lubrication for rail vehicles, industrial lubricants for gearboxes, bearings and chains, metal-free antiseize release pastes for assembly, and lubricating and preservation sprays for workshops, trade, electrical engineering and weapon care. The lubricants are non-toxic, largely biodegradable, not classified as hazardous goods and remain effective at extreme temperatures and high pressure loads. Distribution is worldwide via an international partner network; customers include, among others, Deutsche Bahn, Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich and Würzburger Straßenbahn.
