About Circus Defence
Circus Defence is a business unit of Circus SE and develops autonomous food production systems for military and disaster relief applications. The core product is the CA-M – a containerized, air-transportable kitchen robot system that produces meals fully autonomously, operates without personnel and is available around the clock. The system combines an intelligent induction cooking system (up to 10 dishes prepared in parallel, up to 40 finished meals in stock) with an off-grid infrastructure comprising its own power and water supply as well as local AI computing power. An integrated Drone Port enables autonomous coordination of UAV/UGV resupply. Control is via Maximus OS, an AI operating system with fleet monitoring, predictive maintenance, POS as well as supply-chain and waste AI. In 2025 the company delivered AI robots to the German Bundeswehr; the CA-M market launch is announced for 2026.
