About CIVIDEC Instrumentation

CIVIDEC Instrumentation GmbH was founded in 2009 by Dr. Erich Griesmayer and is headquartered in the centre of Vienna. The company develops and produces radiation diagnostics systems based on synthetic CVD diamond detectors (chemical vapour deposition, detector-grade), analogue electronics and digital real-time data processing units. The product range includes radiation instrumentation for particle accelerators, diagnostics systems for neutrons, charged particles and X-rays, as well as beam position monitors for X-ray beamlines. The products are available as standard items and as customer-specific solutions; every detector is calibrated with the respective particle source and delivered with a product certificate. Manufacturing is done by hand in Vienna using materials of the highest quality for extreme environmental conditions. The technology is used in 43 countries by more than 350 customers, including CERN, where the Diamond Beam Loss Monitors are in operation as a standard product at the LHC.
