CLARK Europe GmbH, headquartered in Duisburg, is the European headquarters of CLARK Material Handling Company, the inventor of the internal combustion industrial forklift in 1917. The company distributes a complete range of industrial trucks: electric three- and four-wheel forklifts, crossover electric forklifts, diesel or LPG forklifts, reach trucks, low- and high-lift pallet trucks, hand pallet trucks, order pickers as well as tow tractors and train systems with load capacities from 300 kg to 8,000 kg. Manufacturing takes place in CLARK Group plants in the USA, South Korea and China based on the principle of lean manufacturing (CLARK Optimized Production System, COPS). The Duisburg headquarters comprises sales, a spare parts center of around 1,500 m² with approximately 20,000 components, a training center and a CLARK museum dedicated to the company's history. The sales territory covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa with around 180 dealers in more than 60 countries; worldwide, CLARK is represented at over 480 locations in more than 90 countries. The product range is aimed at customers from industry, retail and distribution.
