About Clayens
Clayens Group is a manufacturing service provider specialized in the processing of high-performance polymers, composites and precision metal parts, with 27 production sites in 9 countries and around 5,000 employees. The Group masters thermoplastic and composite injection molding (including bi- and tri-material as well as insert overmolding), thermoforming, magnesium Thixomolding, thermoset processing, machining (milling, turning, 5-axis), Metal Engineering with stamping, springs and busbars, as well as additive manufacturing (SLS, MJ, FDM) and electronics manufacturing (PCB, cable harnesses, plastronics). More than 40 material types are processed, from polypropylene through nylon and elastomers to PEEK as well as carbon and glass fiber composites; in Thixomolding, magnesium is thixotropically injected at approximately 560–630 °C. Clayens supports projects from concept through R&D and design offices to series production in small, medium and large lot sizes. Customer industries include aerospace & defense, automotive, electrical engineering & infrastructure, medical technology as well as industry & equipment (including rail transport, telecommunications, agriculture). Headquarters are located in Genas near Lyon; a German site is located in Brilon.

Materials and Processes
Thermoplastics (PP, nylon, elastomers, PEEK, Torlon)
More than 40 material types for injection molding, stamping and thermoforming from polypropylene to PEEK; Torlon as an authorized moulder.
Carbon and glass fiber composites, organosheet, thermoplastic prepregs
Structural composites and prepregs for lightweight, highly stressed components, also overmolded with metal inserts.
Thermosets (polyester, molding compounds)
Injection, compression and injection-compression molding for components with high temperature, UV and vandalism resistance.
Magnesium (Thixomolding)
Thixotropic injection molding at approx. 560–630 °C for lightweight, thin-walled parts with good thermal conductivity and EMI/RFI shielding.
Steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze
Metal materials for stamped and spring parts, busbars and metal-plastic components.
Aluminum and carbon (machining)
Milled and turned parts, also 5-axis, for aerospace, medical technology and industry.
