About CLD Germany GmbH
CLD Germany GmbH is a potting, mould-making and prototype service provider based in Nuremberg since 2013. The company specialises in the potting of electronic components and assemblies as well as the manufacture of potted products with polyurethane (PU). Using two fully automatic potting systems, components in various lengths and shapes are potted according to customer specifications – from clear and opaque potting through design potting with colour gradients to the addition of ceramic parts in various Shore hardness grades. In addition, the company offers vacuum potting with a two-component epoxy system for bubble-free encapsulation, which is used, among other things, in the electrical industry, e-mobility and medical technology. Complementing this, silicone moulds (DD rubber moulds) and tooling including 3D printing are produced, and prototypes are accompanied by technical documentation up to series-production readiness. The service portfolio also includes technical consulting, material procurement, quality assurance and packaging. Linear light lines can be produced as opaque potting with lengths of up to 9 m.

For contract potting of electronic components; protects against moisture, dissipates heat and offers high temperature, chemical and UV resistance.
Epoxy (two-component system)
Used in vacuum potting for bubble-free encapsulation with good adhesion and high thermal shock resistance.
Silicone
Used in mould making for reusable and reproducible DD rubber moulds in any geometric variants.
Ceramic parts (additive)
As an additive in the PU potting compound depending on application requirements.
