About Clean Unit
Clean Unit is a supplier of self-service car wash technology based in Harth-Pöllnitz, Thuringia. The company was founded out of its own operator practice: in the 1990s, existing self-service car wash systems were dismantled, reassembled and serviced, and in the early 2000s Clean Unit temporarily operated up to 10 of its own systems. Based on this experience, the company develops and produces its own car wash technology, including modern pump technology, patented single-bay controls, contactless payment systems (smartphone, debit and credit card) as well as proprietary software systems with remote maintenance and ERP integration. System components are manufactured 100% in stainless steel. In addition, the company modernizes existing self-service car wash systems, retrofits power foam bays, token vending machines, vacuum cleaners and mat cleaners, produces advertising, signage and stickers in its own print shop, and handles installation and commissioning with its own assembly team. Customers are operators of self-service car wash systems in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including Germany's largest car wash operator. At a total of 9 of its own locations, the company tests every technology in practical use.
