CleanCar AG was founded in 1986 in Neuss and today operates 28 own high-performance car wash centers in Germany (25) and Austria (3). The headquarters are located in Düsseldorf. The core business is car washing with self-developed process technologies: gantry systems with wash conveyors, synthetic brushes and individual pre-washing. In addition to wash programs from foam wash to platinum care as well as self-service boxes, the portfolio includes high-quality CarCosmetic services (interior and exterior care, vehicle detailing, engine washing, convertible care), automotive services such as oil changes, wheel changes and air-conditioning service as well as filling stations. With over 400 employees, around 3 million cars are washed, cleaned and cared for annually, with peaks of over 120 washes per hour per branch. Revenue is around 115 million euros. The facilities operate with water recovery (75 l fresh water plus 400 l recycled water per vehicle), load-dependent control, solar technology and biodegradable washing and care products.
