About Cleansort
Cleansort GmbH develops and manufactures sorting solutions based on laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) for metal recycling. The systems analyze each individual part in real time and precisely separate materials, especially aluminum and steel alloys, by their alloy content; sorting limits can be flexibly adjusted. The service portfolio includes incoming analysis of sample material, consulting on sorting strategies, live demonstrations in the company's own technical center, and detailed trial reports. Target industries include recycling, aluminum, steel, automotive, aerospace, packaging, electronics, mining, foundry, as well as research and food. Customers include OSR Metallrecycling GmbH & Co. KG, for whose site in Aalen-Unterkochen an inauguration was held in 2025. The company operates from Rösrath near Cologne and has been on the market with commercial systems since 2023.
