About Clever Etiketten

Clever Systemtechnik-Vertriebs GmbH, known as Clever Etiketten, is a full-service provider of labels and identification systems based in Schnaittach (Middle Franconia). Founded in 1993, the company develops and produces customised labels, including digitally printed labels, RFID/transponder labels, booklet and multilayer labels as well as thermal transfer foils. In addition, the company supplies labelling technology and, since 2014, has manufactured labelling systems and label dispensers in custom designs using its own CNC milling and turning centre (SPINNER machining centre); all machine components are produced in-house. The portfolio is rounded off by label printers, software for label printing, data management and traceability, as well as barcode systems and RFID integration including connection to existing IT systems. Customer industries include food, construction, textiles, pet food, logistics/e-commerce, plastics, automotive and cosmetics.

Materials and Processes

DIG

Digital printing labels

Printed labels from the digital printing process, individually tailored to the application.

RFID

RFID/transponder labels

Chip and antenna are dispensed or encapsulated in polyurethane resin; frequency 13.56 MHz, usable from -40 °C to +90 °C (encapsulated up to +110 °C).

PU

Polyurethane resin (PU resin coating)

Transparent PU resin encapsulation makes RFID labels extremely resistant to external influences.

FOL

Dimensionally stable films

Preferred label material, individually selected according to the application.

TTF

Thermal transfer foils

Label material for thermal transfer printing and label printers.

CNC

CNC machining (milling/turning)

In-house production of all machine components for labelling systems and label dispensers.
