About CNT Technology
CNT Technology offers SmartSaver molecular filters, a product for passive humidity control in cooled environments for air conditioning, refrigeration and deep-freezing. The molecular filters consist of an elaborately processed mineral mixture that acts as a molecular sieve: it extracts only water molecules from the airflow and releases them back into the cycle at low humidity. The process operates entirely autonomously via pressure and temperature differences and works without any electrical components. As a result, load peaks in the refrigeration circuit are avoided, condensation and ice formation are reduced, and the cooling process is run more evenly. According to the manufacturer, this achieves sustained energy savings of between 15 and 25 percent as well as reduced maintenance requirements and lower CO2 emissions. The effectiveness of the minerals used was examined in 2003 by the Swedish SP Swedish National Testing and Research Institute. The company also provides consulting on air conditioning, refrigeration and deep-freezing matters and can be contacted in German and English.

Materials and Functional Principle
Mineral mixture (adsorption material)
Elaborately processed mineral mixture that acts as a molecular sieve, absorbing only water molecules from the airflow and releasing them again under pressure and temperature differences.
