About Cocktail Joe
Cocktail Joe is a German start-up that develops, manufactures and sells the fully automatic cocktail machine Cocktail Joe. The machine prepares more than 60 different cocktails from 18 ingredients, controlled via a touchscreen with 63 pre-installed standard recipes that are freely customizable. The ingredients are dispensed directly from commercially available bottles – without canisters, hoses or pumps. The lighting consists of 163 individually controlled RGBW LEDs. The machine is sold for €12,900 plus VAT; alternatively, rental models with 250 or 500 cocktails per month are available. The machine has been in permanent use since April 2018 in the two family-owned gastronomy businesses Papa Joe's Biersalon and Papa Joe's Jazzlokal in Cologne; since June 2022, an average of 1,147 and 1,264 cocktails per month respectively have been sold there. Target groups are gastronomy, bars and the events industry.
